Daughters of Malaya’s Charcoal Oil Cleansing Gel is a non comedogenic oil cleanser that has mild physical exfoliation from the Charcoal and Betonite as they absorb excess oil, similar to clay masks. It is gentle, non-stripping and works great as a double cleanser.

Consists of:

• Sunflower Oil – An effective plant-based solvent to dissolve all kinds of oil-based impurities on the skin.
• PEG-40 HCO – An emulsifier to make the product be easily washable with water. It’s also water soluble, type of surfactant (specifically, an emulsifier) to combine water and oil.
• Shea Butter – Moisturises the skin and prevent skin from drying.
• Bentonite & Charcoal – Bentonite & Charcoal are both absorbents that can absorb excess oil from within the pores. Has small beads that give the effects of a mild exfoliation while aiding in deep cleansing the skin.

Formulation: Balm

How to: Apply an adequate amount (about 2 finger tips) on cleansed dry palm and gently massage your face with your fingertips. Add water and continue to massage for a couple of minutes. Rinse well. Wash again with another type of cleanser (preferable gel cleanser) to remove any left residue.
